The Public Security Directorate has clarified the details of a vehicle’s violations that were circulated on social media in Al-Karak governorate today. The vehicle’s license has been expired for eight months and the driver’s license for about a year and a half. Additionally, the vehicle’s color has been changed.
The driver parked the car in the middle of the road in a way that violated traffic rules and hindered the movement of other vehicles, despite being warned multiple times. He refused to move the car, claiming that he was shopping at the market. All violations were valid, and the traffic officer applied the law that should apply to everyone without discrimination.
The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate explained the details of the vehicle’s violation that were circulated on social media after its driver threw it in the valley. He confirmed that the driver stopped the car in a way that violated traffic rules and hindered traffic movement. The driver refused to move it, claiming that he was shopping, despite being asked by the traffic officer several times.
When the vehicle documents were requested, it was found that the ownership license had expired for more than eight months, in addition to the driver’s license, which had expired for about a year and a half. The driver also committed a violation by changing the vehicle’s color without documenting it with the licensing authority.
The spokesperson emphasized that all recorded violations against the driver were valid and in accordance with the law. It is not possible to ignore these violations under any circumstance, and it is the duty of the traffic officer to apply the law as required. The law applies to everyone without discrimination.
